Scoring Requirement for Food Manager Certification
The National Restaurant Association has announced that the passing score for certification as a food manager will be lowered to 70% beginning with exams on line or shipped to proctors after July 7, 2022. This change was the result of a task analysis by industry leaders of the key tasks a food manager performs. Exams were created based on subject matter and a passing scored was determined. Previously, successful certification required a score of 75%. Don't hesitate to contact us if you have questions.
