The stress of restaurant life is increasing and competition for customers is skyrocketing. Finding time to attend food safety class for one or two days may be just too difficult.
Serve It Safely has developed an on-line training course that mirrors the information presented in our classroom setting, but it can be taken at a time that's most convenient and at a pace totally controlled by the student.
Our on-line course consists of 18 Modules which follow the flow of food throughout a food service operation, emphasizing those areas where hazards might add to the risk of food borne illness. Each module is followed by a short quiz on a few key points from the Module. The course also includes lots of worksheets to supplement the student's preparation for the ServSafe Exam. So how about testing? Well, there are various options once the course is completed. If you're in the Pittsburgh, PA or surrounding areas, students can test at a ServSafe testing center or arrange a special testing location. If not in the area, or it's simply most convenient, monitored proctorship can be arranged via Skype. Wow!! How easy is that?? So whether certifying for the first time or re-certifying, this option could meet the need.
Several options are available, including Bundles, to help save some dough! Be aware that if taking the course here or somewhere else and purchase the course only, students will get get hit with an additional charge for proctorship of the exam, as everyone charges for this service. (Not always clear with registration) So consider the BUNDLE!!
